New Coat of Paint

After a bit over a year I decided it was time to try on a new look for the blog. I’ll continue tweaking it for the next couple of weeks as I get used to it, or I may go back to the old one, who knows. But it’s fun to try out new things.

As my wife considers me as mainly risk averse I would definitively want the 'old' look back ;-) To be honest, this 'old' version has exactly been a design I would have liked my blog to wear as well ... on the other who knows what you make out of this so far 'pale' green ;-)

Funny because I was really getting into what I thought was a new banner (I'm an RSS user so I only see the whole deal when I come to comment).

Thanks for the feedback!

The nice things about CSS is I can keep tweaking, so I'll continue to refine it.

In terms of the banner, I used to swap those out every month or so (they're all photos that I've taken which I crop to fit). I wasn't able to make the current stock of banner images work with the new layout because of the rounded corners, so I have to redo them. They are something I like too, so they'll probably make a return soon once I've had a chance to update them.
