RIP: Ettore Sottsass

Some sad news to start 2008: Ettore Sottsass has passed away at age 90 yesterday, December 31, 2007. A true designer’s designer, Sottsass easily worked across mediums from products to architecture, flourished in corporate and conceptual environments, was responsible for many of this century’s classic reference designs, and had more stylistic periods than David Bowie. He will be missed.
