Expensive but Pointless

Looking through my query logs to see how people are coming to this blog from search engines, I noticed somebody had used the phrase “expensive but pointless objects”. My blog was the first item Google turned up. Excellent! I love that.

It was referring to an older post about the Rexite Attila Can Crusher, designed by Julian Brown.

Actually it dovetails with this recent post by Niti Bahn on “Why is design important?”
